The goals that one has set in their heart determine the direction of their life and will ultimately determine where they spend eternity.
People set their heart on many different things. When someone sets his heart on something, that is what comes first in his life. Some set their hearts on sports, others to their work, deeming it more important than their own family and their own health. The setting of our heart influences how we use our time. We always find time or money for what we have set our heart on.
The setting of our heart influences the priorities in our lives. If we have set our heart on something that is given priority.
